Participants from Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia ,Finland, France, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland and UK were intensively working together discussing about latest developments in TBE cases within Europe in 2006 as well as the possible reasons for this increase as well as strategies and action steps to fight this increasing disease (including a rise in vaccination coverage rates within the different endemic areas).
